in london
hello all,
have gone through most of london thus far. just went through buckingham palace and covent garden market today. have been to hyde park, oxford, victoria station, and other places that i can't recall multiple times. my dad made us go to oxford twice because he thought that balliol college was at cambridge univ. heresy!
anyway. off to oxford in 5 days.
leaving
1) talked with lots 'o friends on phone
2) packed lot 'o stuff
3) am still not completely packed...
4) have probably forgotten crucial items and will gnash teeth as soon as i arrive in heathrow
5) am v. nervous...
6) haven't slept for past day and half...will sleep on aeroplane...lots
7) finished 4th season of west wing!
"i have my towel, peanut butter, and goggles. i'm all set!"
woah.
so google talk is as good as the advert. i was amazed at the sound quality. and get this. free phone conversations.
that is truly amazing. i won't have to pay a cent for international calls. woot! of course this requires internet access and the recipient having a gmail account, but that's all workable.
