First Tutorial

So I went to bed at 3 am, woke up at 8:30am and trudged off to my tute.

there is this really annoying bird that keeps on humming on top of my room, and since i have the top floor (with a lovely sunscreen) i have to hear the bloody thing all night and morning.

So i arrive to my tute with two copies of the my paper. We start talking about what i think of napoleon, and i'm hardly there b/c i have had the least amount of sleep i've gotten since i've arrived here. i need at least 8 hours of sleep to function properly. Finally, i read through my paper (that's what you do in a tutorial) and then the tries to critique me...except that she doesn't!! it was pretty wimpy criticism and i was waiting for that initial barrage.

washU prof's have really given me a tough skin, so i guess i'll be all soft when i get back. hopefully, she'll really dig into me next time b/c i'm going to write on the downfall of napoleon next time.

it's fun stuff though!

if anyone actually wants to read my paper on napoleon, than just email me on my gmail account and i'll email it back.
